The Open Architecture Network is an online, open source community dedicated to improving living conditions through innovative and sustainable design. It was founded by Architecture for Humanity and the designers who volunteer with them. Architecture for Humanity is a nonprofit design services firm founded in 1999. In the Open Architecture Network designers can share their ideas, designs and plans, communicate with each other and get knowledge about projects and competitions etc.
We think it is an interesting and useful network, because it concentrates on farsighted projects in places where help is needed.
